Community Project, Zimbabwe was formed in 2014, it recognizes the potential of local communities as key to the implementation of sustainable livelihood and development of the country. CPZ was formed to build the capacity of communities and the country at large in addressing the effects of droughts, variability of weather patterns and deteriorating socio economic conditions in the country.
CPZ will complement communities and the government in implementation of sustainable solutions in addressing underlying causes of vulnerability and shocks in communities.
Currently the organization is operating in Harare and Mudzi district. The organization however hopes to spread and cover the rest of Zimbabwe where and when the need arises. CPZ also has strategic plans to be a renowned international non-profit organization in maintaining the dignity and standard of living of people through out the world.
